First trailers for Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and We Are Friends Released

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-44_igsZtgU

This is the sequel to last year's The Maze Runner. Hopefully they're not rushing The Scorch Trials, since it's coming out pretty much exactly a year after it's predecessor. I didn't really care for the first Maze Runner film. From the trailers the movie appeared to be just another Government putting teens in a situation. Taking that it was like The Hunger Games and Divergent away, it still wasn't that well made of a movie and especially the ending. That was terrible. This actually looks a lot better. The story looks like it'll keep itself moving and there's a lot more going on. Seeing Littlefinger (Aiden Gillan) from Game of Thrones is interesting. He was in The Dark Knight Rises, but here he looks and sounds more like Littlefinger. Will The Scorch Trials be good? Only time will tell. Am I really that excited for it? No. I'll see it though.

Now onto the We Are Friends trailer. I'm not really that interested from what I saw, but I do really like Zac Efron and Wes Bentley. This might be a movie I see because of the acting.

First Warcraft Image, Mad Max Sequel, and Rumor: Lex Luthor warsuit in Batman V Superman,

I have a few different things to talk about, so I'm just gonna do one big post about them all.

This moring, the first images from Warcraft, of Orgrim, played by Robert Kazinsky. I don't really know World of Warcraft at all. I played it once. That being said, these images look pretty great and faithful to the character from the game.

Today the title for the Mad Max: Fury Road sequel, Mad Max: Wasteland, was announced.

Mad Max  Fury Road is doing well at the box office and the reception is out of this world. People are loving this movie. I saw it on Thursday and thought it was pretty awesome. I felt like I was transported to the 80s. It was great to see real people putting themselves in dangerous situations. So I'm really excited to see what comes from Mad Max Wasteland. As far as the title goes, I like it. The title fits well with the world they've created. A world I can't wait to return to.

Word on the street is that Lex Luthor will be wearing his warsuit in Batman V Superman.

This kinda goes against what I reported yesterday about Doomsday (possibly) being in Batman V Superman, as the muscle. If he is in his warsuit, that would be different to any live action movie iteration of Lex Luthor, that we've seen. I don't know, though. I prefer Lex Luthor not to be in his warsuit and just using his intellect. Giving him his warsuit would just make him a more generic villain. Anyway, we don't even know if this is true or not, so I'll keep you posted.

First Trailer for Danny Boyle's 'Steve Jobs' Released

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCNuTXGmToY

This is a really brief trailer. It has Michael Fassbender, as Steve Jobs, going out on stage with voiceover from him and the other characters.

As far as looks wise, I think everyone looks great. I don't know about his performance, but Michael Fassbender, appearance wise, looks more like Steve Jobs than I was expecting. From set photos, he looked just like Michael Fassbender. Besides, if his acting sucks, he can just rely on his size. I can't wait to see Seth Rogens as Woz. I love to see comedic actors do a serious movie, like last year with Steve Carrell in Foxcatcher. I really think, come Oscar time, this film's gonna get multiple nominations, more likely in the acting categories.

Ascetically, the movie looks off. When the trailer first started, the movie looked kinda blurry.

While I was really excited when David Fincher was announced to be doing this (before he left), Danny Boyle is a really interesting choice to tackle this film.

Regardless, I can't wait to see this.

Steve Jobs hits theaters on 9 October 2015

Doomsday (Reportedly) in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

Doomsday has been announced to be a major villain in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

This was announced last night. I didn't even hear about it till this morning. I'm not seeing a lot of people talking about it, so it could be false.

This could mean multiple things. They say he's the "muscle" to Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, which honestly gives me a Bane in Batman & Robin vibe and, we all know how great that was.

The next possibility I'm talking about has to do with what Doomsday is responsible for doing in the Superman comics, so if you don't want to know stop reading now.

When seeing that Doomsday's in this movie, anyone who's familiar with the comics immediately thinks of Superman dying. Now obviously, if he does die, he wouldn't stay dead. I actually have a theory, that had to do with Doomsday, about how Batman V Superman and Justice League will play out. Doomsday and Superman fight, which concludes with Superman dying, at the end of Batman V Superman. As a result, Batman (or another member since Batman has always been the reluctant one) forms The Justice League to take down Doomsday. Then Superman comes back and Doomsday is defeated.

Now just because I have this theory, do I think it's a good idea? Not really. I just wouldn't put it past them to do something like this. Doing Doomsday now is just going to big to early. This is as imagining if Marvel did Thanos much earlier, instead of building up to him in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and 2. It would work better, to do Doomsday, in Man of Steel 2 or Justice League 2.

Here's the story, as reported on by Cinemablend. Keep in mind they said "major" villain, so that doesn't mean he's just set up for future movies.
